Investing in Web3

I've been "investing" in web3 for over a year. I use that term loosely because I see it as less of an investment and more of a way to be a part of the future.

When I first got into web3, I spent way too much time following projects, being in Twitter spaces and jumping from one FOMO to another. It became somewhat of a full time job.

But what I realised is that what's important is not the $ amounts made, what I learned is that in web3 you need to have a long-term time horizon. If you're here for the quick $ or the easy flip, you're in the wrong industry.

What's fun about web3 is the relationships that you can make. Yes, it's good to take profit when you can, but what's even more important than the $ is the people that you meet. When you're early to a movement, you get to influence how it'll be shaped in the future. So don't focus too much on the dollars, because those will come, but the friendships and projects that you can create is where the opportunities lie.
